Reflecting - Magpie Tale # 37

Inspired by this weeks Magpie Tales and the photo below.


Those silvered reflections of you

still exist, strands of spidered silk

woven and so delicately knotted

tracing my veins, footpaths edged

beside the crimson rivers, blood

bound and fluid, still guided

by the high wire touch of you

imperceptable tightropes

where once you walked

Like the tension here! I especially love the last 3 lines!

Here's something for you to try, break each line into its own stanza of two or three lines each, with a spacing break in between, you will notice the tension level goes up even more.
