Writers Island Prompt #17 - Time Travel

Time Travel

I opened the door and there you were
Just as I had left you so long ago

The frozen moment immortalised
still replaying. . . over and over

But, now I am here again
to tell you I am sorry

to ask you to
forgive
me

This was written for
Writer's Island
Prompt #17

I liked this a lot, the journey to sorry can be long and arduous, and it's always a travel in time. I love how the form of the poem shows this, ends of lines coming from far apart to as good as a single point. Well done!
