Time Travel
I opened the door and there you were
Just as I had left you so long ago
The frozen moment immortalised
still replaying. . . over and over
But, now I am here again
to tell you I am sorry
to ask you to
forgive
me

Thanks very much Pamela. :-)
lots said in a few lines....nicely done with the prompt
I liked this a lot, the journey to sorry can be long and arduous, and it's always a travel in time. I love how the form of the poem shows this, ends of lines coming from far apart to as good as a single point. Well done!
Shape, content, words - everything right about this poem. Thank you.
Beautiful and Brilliant!!!
I love the form, especially when it comes to the last stanza.
Love the look of it and the sound of it. You deserve to be forgiven!
:) Short and sweet, wonderful =)
Visually engaging form and what a hopeful write...
