Here's this week's picture. . .

He kept it there, just over his shoulder
a stark reminder that death was waiting
a visual touchstone that screamed in his ear

Yes! I agree with Deborah, this is brilliant. Life is short and should be lived. I love this.

I never thought about that being the reasons doctors keep skeletons hanging about in their offices, but it makes sense! Well done!

Oh, this is excellent! We all need motivation in our lives.

One got to do, what one got to do to be motivated.

What a terrific reminder to us all! Fantastic take on the pic of the day! Something we'd all do well to remember! Have a great week!

Creepily inspiring! It even evokes that haunting, hollow sound bones make when they rattle together. Hmm. Now there's an idea for a Halloweenie windchime, if I ever heard one! All of a sudden, I feel like a picnic at the cemetary. Heck, October 31st is just around the corner - why not avoid the rush? LOL! Trick or Treat!

Great interpretation of the picture - lively, if that's not to awful a pun!

That would be one rude wake up call to have constantly around!

This might just be the most brilliant micro I've ever read - it is 100% ALIVE with meaning, with urgency, yes, with life. A perfect match of words to image. Loved the last line + - I felt it reverberate in my own ear (it's a song I know well).

Thank you, and well done!
