Too Long In The Dark

Drench me with your summer love,
for I am not immune to darkness.

Smother me, until I radiate light
and pulse with all I have
left unspoken. . .

for I have been alone here,
and you are sunlight
knocking
at my
door.

For three word wednesday - this weeks prompt words were - drench, immune, radiate.

The distress of the subject is well-expressed in this piece. It is both dramatic and magical. Good job on this one! :-)

It is flawlessly written and really captures the essence of both the prompt words as well as the spirit of the subject. Simply stunning! :)

You are sunlight... what a gorgeous image! This speaks of love as well as an emergence from solitude. Nicely done.
