AWAITING THE PAINTER

My bland walls,
are in need of your paint.

Daub them with
your precious colour.

Vibrant and wet,
let it drip. . .

Running rivulets,
down the length of them.

Hues bleeding,
merging into one another.

Creating new shades as they go.

Please, take up your vivid colour,
and paint this wall Red.

A sensual poem, Susannah. Nothing bland or beige about your walls.

I once painted my bedroom wall bright red, and was glad I moved before it needed to be repainted. I loved the color though. Love your very sensual poem.

Mary, I had a red kitchen in my last house, too! Loved it, so inspiring.

Susannah, a wonderful quality of yours is that you see that bland picture and demand it bring forth color. Strong color, at that. Lovely use of the prompt! Amy
