Those long gone summers of childhood

That sunblind summer. . .

Where the light sparkled so vividly

that I didn't notice the shadows,

the sharp contrasts,

the night.

Memory tells of endless days. . .

wrapped in the bright beauty

of youth, and sunshine.

Written for in tandem over at Alias Jinksy. So, what do you see in Jinksy's image?

Very beautiful! It is a surprising coincidence that even I thought of childhood memories when I saw the picture :)

That sunblind summer.

Yep - I can see this graphic used on a window blind, now you come to mention it!*smiles*
Thanks again for playing, and capturing the sparkling light in your own way.♥

Jinksy...you ought to be a comedian. ;-)

Thanks both for your comments. x

What do you mean? OUGHT to be a comedian? I thought I already was! LOL But I was serious about the blind. I wouldn't mind that picture on one hanging at my window.

Youth sees only the sunshine of happy days. Your reference to the the night captures the contrasting threat of darkness as well. Beautiful.
