I am ablaze.
Orange heat
Pirouettes.
Dancing
As it destroys.
Burning
What has gone.
So that
What is new
May flourish.
Purifying.
Cleansing.
Transforming.
Devouring what is.
To make room
For what will be.
And
I am there.
In the flames.
And I am consumed.
.
I will miss taking part in the Tuesday Collab. It is has been fun. I have loved it. x

Love how the shape of your poem mimics that of the fire in the image. You describe well the heat and passion of creative fire. Especially:
Devouring what is.
To make room
For what will be.
I think of all the words I have written over the years, all of the poems, each one driven to be born, consumed to make room for even more.
Thanks so much for participating. This might be the final collab, but it certainly won't be the final image. That fire is still burning, and hopefully will continue. I do so love playing with the colors.

A beautiful descriptive piece... I really like "dancing as it destroys."
Thanks very much to both of you for your comments. :-)
