Inhaling the shape
of her whirling copper grace
he stood stock still in the silent shade
His hastily flung kisses
hard echoes, flitting across the surface
of the patient waiting sands
and the haze of his bright longing
shimmered and danced
like quick spilt pepper
This is my fourth week joining in with The Sunday Whirl wordle.
I managed to use all of the words. :-)

Susannah, I enjoyed this romantic and dreamlike poem and the creative way you used the wordle words.
Wonderful poem, Susannah! From the title, I thought maybe you'd gone on a beach walk too, but you added a romantic plot to your wordle use. Well done. :)
Susannah, I love the last stanza, the image of longing dancing "like quit spilt pepper" is super.

These were lovely words today, and you have done them proud. A real poem!
Oh, yeah. I like that quick spilt pepper.
Nice way with a wordle: it's totally invisible.
Lovely and spicy.
Spicy, it is Susannah. Well wordled!
Pamela
Thanks everyone. :-)
I am really enjoying taking part in the Sunday Whirl wordle. It is fun to see where the words take us.
Lovely is what I thought as well.
Thanks Irene. :-)
I love the first two lines, especially...
Well done!
~Paula
Thanks Paula. :-)
Don't know how I missed this. I was sure I had left a comment, sorry. I too like the romantic take on the wordle. Sometimes they seem to come so easy, other times they are hard work. But, always fun. Really nice job, Susannah,
Elizabeth
Thanks very much Elizabeth. I am really enjoying the wordles. :-)
